Shipping Policy

Trends Beauty Australia

Last updated: 17 July 2026

This policy is issued by Trends Beauty Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 15 603 540 558), trading as Trends Beauty Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Processing time

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days before dispatch. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. During sale periods, restocks, or other high-volume periods, processing may take longer — we'll note this on the site if it applies.

Shipping methods & costs

We ship via Australia Post.

Domestic (Australia)

•     Standard and Express Post options, priced by weight and destination at checkout.

•     Free standard shipping on orders over AUD $80.

International

•     We currently ship to New Zealand only.

•     Shipping cost and delivery estimate are calculated at checkout.

Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates provided by Australia Post, not guaranteed delivery dates. Once an order is dispatched, delivery speed is outside our control.

Risk and ownership

Ownership of your order, and risk of loss or damage, passes to you once Australia Post accepts and scans the parcel for collection. From that point, your order is in Australia Post's care and subject to their terms of carriage.

Delivery

Domestic parcels are sent with Australia Post's Authority to Leave (Safe Drop), meaning a parcel may be left at your address without a signature if the driver judges it safe to do so. This is set by Australia Post's own delivery conditions for the service used and can vary by parcel or destination.

Your address

It's your responsibility to provide a complete and correct delivery address at checkout. If a parcel is delayed, misdelivered, or returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we'll contact you to arrange re-delivery — a re-shipping fee will apply.

International orders — customs & duties

For orders shipped to New Zealand, any customs duties, import taxes, or clearance fees are your responsibility and are charged separately by New Zealand customs/postal authorities, not by us. We aren't liable for delays caused by customs processing. We may change or restrict the countries we ship to at any time.

Lost, delayed, or stolen parcels

Once an order is picked up by Australia Post, our liability for loss or damage in transit is limited to what Australia Post covers under their own terms of carriage. Standard parcels carry limited compensation; higher cover can be added at checkout as an optional shipping protection add-on where available.

If tracking shows a delay, or shows “delivered” but you haven't received your parcel:

1.   Check with neighbours/household members and any safe-drop location noted in tracking.

2.   Contact Australia Post directly with your tracking number to lodge an investigation — as the party with the shipping contract, they're best placed to trace it.

3.   Contact us with your order number and we'll assist with the enquiry.

For parcels without shipping protection, we aren't obligated to replace or refund an order lost or stolen after Australia Post has taken possession of it, beyond what Australia Post's own investigation determines. We assess uninsured claims on a case-by-case basis.

Returned to sender

If Australia Post returns a parcel to us — for example because it went uncollected from a parcel locker or post office, or the address was incorrect — we'll contact you. You can choose to have it re-sent (re-shipping fee applies) or refunded, minus the original shipping cost.

Damaged in transit

If an order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging. We'll arrange a replacement or refund once we've reviewed the claim.

Changes & cancellations

You can request a change or cancellation up until an order enters processing. Once an order has been dispatched, it can't be cancelled or redirected.

Circumstances beyond our control

We aren't liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, industrial action, or Australia Post service disruptions.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees relating to the supply of goods.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
